How to apply for admission to the seats reserved for CUET PG qualified candidates in the Post Graduate programmes offered by the University for 2026 admissions.

CUET PG 2026 New Registration / Score Updating from 12.06.2026 onwards

• CUET Score entry for candidates who have already applied for CAT 2026

Candidates with CUET score who have already applied for PG CAT 2026 should update their CUET score by logging into the account already created in the admission portal.

• New Candidates applying for admission to the CUET PG Reserved Seats in the PG programmes offered:

• Register and create candidate profile in the portal cat.mgu.ac.in.
• After registration, select the desired PG programmes (except MBA, M.Ed, MA Social Work in Disability Studies and Action, M.Tech programmes and Integrated Programmes) the candidate wishes to apply for from the programme list. Select the corresponding CUET PG test code and enter the score.
• For some programmes, multiple test codes are eligible. In such cases select your CUET PG test code with the best score.
• Complete the registration by paying application fees of Rs. 1250/- for one programme/cluster of programmes and Rs. 250/- for each additional programme (maximum four programmes only).
• Allotment to the CUET reserved seats will be from a rank list prepared based solely on CUET PG Scores.

Important Instructions

• CUET Test Codes: Choose the correct CUET (PG) test code for your desired programme (listed in the M G U CAT Prospectus 2026 – Chapter 1.4.6, Page 21–24).
• Rank Lists: Separate rank lists will be prepared for CUET seats for each PG programme.
• Fee Structure: Fee for CUET reserved seat is equivalent to All India Merit seat fees for the particular PG programmes.
• Allotment Priority: For candidates who are applying through CAT 2026 and CUET PG 2026, first priority will be given for CAT 2026 rank for general/reservation seats. If not allotted via CAT, allotment to CUET reserved seats from CUET rank list will be considered.
